We started a new Unit today with notes on Ancient Persia and their eventual decline at the hands of the Greeks. Students were given a new vocabulary list. We shared our thesis statements with each other, took constructive criticism, and revised them. They were turned in. Students received a timeline assignment that they can start doing the dates on. They received a Chapter Reading Guide for Chapter 3. All students have a textbook reading tonight. The class assignment was to read two primary source documents, one by Leonidas of Sparta, and the other by Xerxes of Persia. They answered some general questions and we will talk about leadership tomorrow. UNIT 2 VOCABULARY WORDS
