We started out today with a journal about the relationship between Science and Religion. We studied the specific thinkers that dominated the Scientific Revolution. We discussed the impact of the scientists, specifically Galileo and Newton. It's important to remember that many of the new ideas were opposite to what the Catholic Church was teaching. Students used the book to research the 12 scientists at the bottom of the note sheet. We watched a short video on Copernicus and the most influential thinkers of this time period.
