We completed our Powerpoint activity on Imperialism and completed our map activity. We filled out the rest of the notes on the front side of the worksheet. We learned about two conflicts, one in China, and the other in India. Eventually, the British sent their own troops and took over India as a colony. The British forced the Indians to grow the poppy, which can be used to make opium. This leads to our next conflict, the China Opium Wars. Watch the video linked below.
