We finished up learning about the French Revolution, speaking about Napoleon becoming Emperor, the changes he made (Napoleonic Code) and his eventual defeat at Waterloo. This leads to the Congress of Vienna, where the map of Europe is redrawn. We also learned about Adam Smith, the famed economist who created Laissez Faire capitalism (meaning HANDS OFF) which says the invisible hand of the market will set prices and supply and demand. The Unit 4 Test Study Guide is already posted here. Students won't get a hard copy until tomorrow, but they can start studying a day early if they want.
